“Recreational” and “Competitive” Levels

Our Spring 2014 Youth Field Lacrosse program will offer players two different levels of competitively appropriate play and skills development.

  • The three “Recreational” teams (U-16, U-14, and U-11) will focus on individual skill development with a minimum of physical contact.  The registration process for the White team is done through Westmount Recreation.
  • The three “Competitive” teams will build on the individual skills developed in the “Rec” program but will incorporate contact (not “collisions”) and competitive games against area teams.  We expect to have a 3-4 game schedule for each age level in the Spring.  Registration for the “Competitive” program is in addition to that for the Westmount Rec program.

Costs for Spring Registration: “Recreational” team is $50 for the spring season (Westmount Rec registration only).  “Competitive” team is an additional $200 total for the spring season.  The Club dues cover the costs of game uniforms, referees, additional coaches’ salaries, etc.

See “Master Calendar” for practice and game schedules.
