GOOD NEWS!  Lacrosse is back!

In the current pandemic environment, the Quebec Government has imposed protocols as a result of which contact sports and games/matches are not allowed. However, these protocols do not restrict activities such as throwing the ball around or running basic drills, so long as the participants remain the required two meters away from each other. It is not permitted to have groups of more than eight participants per coach. Also, the groups of eight participants have to stay in separate parts of the field from each another. These groups cannot intermingle.

In light of these circumstances, and needing to work within these guidelines and the ever changing reality of the pandemic, it has been a bit of a struggle putting any sort of viable and realistic program together for this spring season.

But we will try. Our plan is to start out with the kids getting together for some informal practices during the last two weeks of May and then depending on our numbers and what protocols are in place we will look to ramp up to more traditional practices during the month of June.

These practices/clinics will be held at Westmount High School, Wednesday evenings from 5:30-6:30 starting May 12 and finishing June 23.

The normal registration fees will be waived this year, however it will still be necessary to register in order for us to have a better understanding as to who and how many participants we will have and for us to keep everybody up to date with the latest news. Registration details coming soon!

Looking forward to seeing everyone!
